June 2026 | Monthly Forecast
Mercury Enters Cancer, Venus Conjunct Jupiter, a New Moon in Gemini, Chiron Enters Taurus, Cancer Season & the Summer Solstice, Mercury Retrograde, a Full Moon in Capricorn, & Jupiter Enters Leo...
I am so excited for June this year.
Part of that is astrological, but if I’m being completely honest, part of it is also that I got a breast reduction exactly one year ago this month. A very literal North Node transiting my Pisces first house experience. Last summer was spent healing, adjusting, buying entirely new clothes, and learning how to exist in a body that felt different. This summer, however, is for tiny bikinis, long afternoons in the park, rooftop drinks, watching Love Island, and fully enjoying the results of that process.
It is also Pride Month, which means New York City becomes one of the most beautiful places on earth. The city is vibrant. People are outside. The energy becomes more playful. More social. More colorful. The collective mood improves almost overnight (The Great Lawn will be seeing me). Following the heaviness, uncertainty, and emotional work that many of us have put into the first half of the year, June feels like a true turning point.
And astrologically? Thank God.
June is not easy, but the astrology begins shifting away from survival mode and back toward participation in life. There is movement this month. There is socialization. There is celebration. There is curiosity. There is creativity. And most importantly, there is a growing sense that the future is starting to open up instead of contract.
A good chunk of that is due to Gemini Season; lucky for you, I have an entire video dedicated to Gemini Season 2026! Since Gemini season occupies roughly two-thirds of June, a lot of the themes discussed there will continue unfolding throughout most of the month. If you're looking for a deeper breakdown of the season's major transits, collective themes, and how this period may be showing up in your own life, I highly recommend watching that first and then returning to this forecast.
The biggest event of June is Jupiter’s final month in Cancer before it enters Leo on June 30th.
Since June 2025, Jupiter has been moving through the sign of its exaltation, exaggerating themes of emotional security, family dynamics, belonging, nourishment, home, lineage, nostalgia, and the basic foundations upon which our lives are constructed. Whether consciously or unconsciously, many people have spent the last year building/strengthening these aspects of their lives. Some relocated. Some resolved family issues/dynamics. Some became parents. Some left relationships they no longer felt emotionally secure within. Some simply tried to build enough stability to breathe again during the course of the year.
Now we arrive at the final chapter.
On June 9th, Venus and Jupiter meet together in Cancer, which is one of the sweetest alignments of the entire year. Traditionally, Venus represents enjoyment, social connections, beauty, love, friendships, affection, pleasure, finances and conversation, while Jupiter expands whatever it touches. This is one of those transits that reminds us life is not solely meant to be optimized or survived. Attend that dinner party! Take that vacation day! Host that barbecue! Flirt with someone! Tell people you love them! Buy those flowers! The ancient astrologers understood something we often forget: joy is not a reward for finishing your responsibilities. Joy itself is part of a meaningful life.
The New Moon in Gemini on June 15th supports this shift toward movement and engagement. Gemini represents exchange, dialogue, learning, travel, neighbors, siblings, networks, information, etc. Since New Moons represent beginnings, many people will find themselves entering entirely new social ecosystems over the next few months. New classes, new friendships, new communities, new interests, new conversations. This is one of those lunations where curiosity trumps certainty.
Chiron enters Taurus on June 19th for the first time in decades, beginning a long-term collective process surrounding issues related to security, value, survival, resources, ownership, belonging and our relationship with the physical world. This transit deserves an article of its own, but collectively it indicates that a good chunk of the wounds appearing over the coming years will relate to feelings of stability. What can truly make us safe? What can we dependably rely on? How do we respond when structures we believed would always remain intact fail? Taurus is often associated with comfort, but ancient astrology understood it as a sign whose primary concern was preservation. Chiron’s ingress here means that many of us will be forced to redefine what sustains us. This will get its own article, so keep an eye out….
Cancer Season officially commences on June 21st (Summer Solstice, yay!), drawing our attention back toward the home, family, memories, protection, and emotional well-being. However, since Jupiter leaves Cancer only 10 days after the season starts, there is a feeling that something important is reaching completion rather than initiation.
Then the atmosphere changes.
Mars enters Gemini on June 28th, increasing activity, movement, travel, debate, conversation, multitasking, and general busyness. Simultaneously, Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer on June 29th, so expect both nostalgia for earlier times, life experiences, relationships, grievances/questions, as well as family, housing, and unfinished personal business before the month closes.
The month ends with two big events occurring within hours of one another: a Full Moon in Capricorn and Jupiter’s ingress into Leo.
Capricorn always calls us out for what we’ve built. Our careers. Responsibilities. Obligations. The systems we create to help ourselves and others. So naturally, the main question here: is the life you have constructed capable of supporting the future you want?
Then, finally, Jupiter enters Leo.
This is the transit I suspect many people are already feeling approaching.
After a year spent strengthening foundations, Jupiter moves into a sign that represents personal radiance. It is taking up a one year residence in a sign that represents the ability to express yourself creatively. A place where you can show off your talents through performance or romance. Where you take pride in your individuality and share it with others. This is where you move from being private and comfortable at home, to taking part in the world as an active participant. From preserving to expressing. The symbolism is difficult to miss.
The first half of 2026 has asked many difficult questions about who we are internally. The second half may ask a different question entirely:
Now that you know who you are, are you willing to be seen?
But enough of the serious stuff. You did not come here solely for philosophical reflections on Jupiter changing signs and the evolution of human consciousness (Unless you did and I apologize). Many of you are here for recommendations and to find out what the astrology is activating specifically to you.
So, with that out of the way, let’s move into this month’s Cosmically Curated picks and the June horoscopes!
